I just did a search for avast bloat and i know for sure im not the only one who says this, to pay for an av then to have to disable half of it. i dont want to have to mess with it at all. like a ' gaming version ' or super light version etc. just to use the installer to remove what i didnt want, please just release a plain version with just the av, MAIN shields and an option for the firewall and i may just start using it again. i mentioned it many times, even asked on the avast forum back then and never had a resolution. and yes a few years back when you guys started adding the extra junk i did custom install but then i would either be suggested by the gui to add the missing stuff (same with avg) or a pop up for it, or at times i had avast do a major update then after a reboot it took it upon itself to add stuff i chose not to install. the web toolbar remover, search engine tools, system speedup junk, drivers updater, registry cleaners, defrag tools etc etc etc the list goes on, avg was also like this.

Basically anything other than the things needed for the av and or firewall.
